ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Computer Science was established in 2002, with the objective of imparting quality education in the domain of Computer Science and Applications. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation, the department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in Information Technology industries in India and abroad. The Department updates its syllabi frequently to attract young talents from all over the country. The academic activities of the department, during the last four years, were centered on teaching and research programmes in computer science with a view to train post-graduates and researchers who can contribute significantly to the requirements of professional organizations in the field.

PROGRAMMES OFFEREDELIGIBILITY
B.Voc AR/VR (Computer Science)

Those who have passed +2 examinations in any subject approved by TNBSC/CBSE/ICSE or any Diploma/UG degree, approved by the Association of Indian Universities are eligible to seek admission. Vocational stream students are most preferred.

M.C.A. ( 2 years)

Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Degree. OR Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10th, +2 level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University). Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination

M.Sc. (Computer Science)

A candidate who has passed B.Sc. Computer Science/B.C.A/B.Sc. Computer Technology/B.Sc. Information Science/Technology degree of this University or any of the degree of any other University accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto subject to such conditions as may be prescribed therefore shall be permitted to appear and qualify for the M. Sc COMPUTER SCIENCE degree examination of this University after a course of study of two academic years

M.Sc. (Data Science)

A Pass in recognized Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering/Electronics and communication Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology/Software Engineering/BCA/ Mathematics/Statistics/Physics/Data Science/Data Analytics under 10+2+3/4 system of this University or equivalent degree

M.Phil. (Computer Science)

[as per University Norms]

Ph.D. (Computer Science)

A candidate should obtained a Master Degree(M.Sc. Computer Science/Technology/MCA) with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/Differently abled and those who qualified for the Master's degree before 19th September 1991 the minimum eligibility marks shall be 50% in their Master's degree.

Candidates can register under the following categories for the PhD. Programme:
a) Full Time (with or without stipend or fellowship)
b) Part Time (teacher or non-teacher/Technical; vis-a-vis external)
c) Research Fellows/Research Assistants/Technical Assistants/Project Assistants/Training Officers in Extension Departments approved by recognized Agencies/Government are also eligible to register for Ph.D. on a full time basis in the same department provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down
d)Independent Research without Supervisor

CENTRE FOR COMPUTATIONAL INTELLIGENCE

The International Journal of Computational Intelligence and Informatics is an international quality, peer reviewed journal covering innovative research and practice in the area of Computational Intelligence and Informatics. IJCII will publish original research articles of the highest quality. Submissions will be evaluated on their originality and significance. The Journal has a dual emphasis and contains articles that are of interest both to practicing Intelligence System professionals and to university and industry researchers. In particular, it encourages papers that report on activities that have successfully connected fundamental and applied research with practical application. The journal thus publishes papers relating to both emerging research and to professional practice.

SUBMISSION

Authors are invited to submit unpublished research papers round the year. The paper may be submitted through mail id ijciijournal@gmail.com. The submitted papers will be published quarterly after two blind reviews. To publish a paper in IJCII, there is no processing and publication fee.
