Library

Welcome to the Periyar University Central Library. University Central Library was established in 1997. It supports teaching, research and extension programme of the University. All the students, faculty members, research scholars and employees of the University are entitled to make use of the library facilities.

The Library has been one of the members of INFLIBNET Centre, Ahmedabad and DELNET, New Delhi. The University has been provided with BSNL 10 mbps Internet connectivity under UGC-Infonet program me. The Central Library moved to its new building in October 2010.

Our aim is to support the academics, R&D activities. Our goal is to support and provide the quality education and research programmes for the development of society.
